3rd and 4th graders
These bright students make up one of the 3 classes we will teach for
an hour a week in 2 public elementary schools. Pray that we can be
a blessing to them.
Spring gardens
Throughout this busy city, there are gardens everywhere. Actually they are fields because the produce will be sold. It seems interesting that someone would farm a 100' x 100' plot when land is so expensive. The reason is that they are waiting for a better price before selling the land. Industrial parks and high rise apartments are taking over what was countrysides and small villages.
Traditional roofs
Even some very modest buildings have these roofs. Actually there is quite a mix of styles, but one would hope they continue using these traditional building styles.
Window Shopping
Traditional Korean dresses - probably for special occasions, weddings. However, 99% of the clothing stores are just like any US stores. In fact, there is an over abundance of outdoor-wear shops like Northface.
Bisquits ?
Cooking without self rising flour (actually without frozen bisquits)
has it's risks.
Second try - That's better!
Bisquits, gravy, blackberry jelly, bacon - breakfast southern style.
Getting ingredients has been a challenge, still have not seen green beans,
grits, sour cream, cottage cheese, or corn meal.
In addition to beginning at the public schools this week, we have been planning and praying for the new outreach center. We spent some time looking for tables and chairs and other things we will need. Continue praying for us as we begin this new endeavor of teaching English to children and adults and having a Sunday afternoon English church service.

The kids look fun! And, they look sweet - don't think they'll need 'the look'.
We like the fancy clothes - pretty neat that the whole family has matching outfits.
Christy
Actually...I didn't think the first batch of biscuits looked so bad! The class looks like they are having fun..I am sure you both are too. The garden's look interesting as well. It makes me want to plant one. I love you both...talk to you soon.
