About a mile from our church is a park that has been exceptionally beautiful for the past 2 weeks. We understand that this garden of about 10 acres is owned and maintained by a private individual. One of the school moms told us it is called Flower Mountain.
Choe Family Reunion
Pastor Choe and Sister Shin have 3 children. Yang Hee, her husband Huw, and 3 year old daughter Hannah live here (about 5 miles from the local church). The first son, his wife, 3 year old son, and 1 year old daughter live in Seoul (about 100 miles from here). The second son, his wife, and 3 year old son live in Queens in New York City. Pastor Choe's 2 sons are identical twins. The family from New York is just completing their 3 week vacation here. They have not been home to Korea in almost 3 years. Unless you are new to this Blog, you already know that Yang Hee and Huw are very dedicated Christians - giving their lives for others. Well the 2 sons and their families as also dedicated workers in their respective churches.
These pictures were snapped the day the Choe family went to a studio for a family portrait, then to a very nice Korean restaurant, and then stopped by the beautiful Flower Mountain. We were very honored to be included with the family on this special day.

BEAUTIFUL pictures! How wonderful for the Choes to get to be together with all their children and grandchildren. I suspect you'll feel differently about that type of occasion than you ever did before your move, huh? ;-) I believe God will richly reward your labor of love for Him and His Church, and make the temporary family separation worthwhile. You are affecting more souls for eternity than you'll ever know.
Just want to kiss all those chubby cheeks!
